I have graduated as a Natural Therapist after many years in the Public Sector environment. The study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the philosophies that have enriched this modality have nourished and energized my life. SERVICES

Acupuncture:

Acupuncture is a most modern modality through research in all the developed countries of the world including Australia. I use acupuncture equipment of the highest standard including the best quality needles manufactured in countries such as Germany, Japan, United States of America and China. Other equipment I use include heat lamps, electro-stimulating machines, low frequency electro-pulse (T.E.N.S.)machines and laser technology. I also use traditional methods such as moxibustion and cupping. All of these therapies stimulate acu-
points along your body's meridans to clear energy blockage and encourage the normal flow of qi(chi) through your body.

Laser Acupuncture:

Acupuncture through Laser technology takes the 'puncture' out of acupuncture. A low density laser ray is produced by a machine using safe laser technology. This laser ray is directed to stimulate acu-points below the surface of your skin to clear blockages and encourage the normal flow of qi with no pain or scaring. For this reason it is excellent for your child and your family and friends who do not wish to experience traditional acupuncture needling.

Cosmetic Acupuncture:

Acu-points are stimulated by needling, acupressure and/or massage with the addition of Chinese herbal formulas to rejuvenate your face. This process aids in:

• the reduction of your wrinkles through the promotion of collagen production;
  

• the firming of skin reducing bags under your eyes and sagging face;
  

• reduction of dark spots and facial discoloration and, promotion of self esteem.

..Traditional Chinese Remedial Massage (Tui Na):

A deep form of massage used to restore the normal flow of qi along the meridans throughout your body. This massage can be used with acupuncture or as an independent form of therapy.

Chinese Herbal Medicine:

I carry a wide range of chinese herbal medicines covering a wide range of common and not so common health conditions. These formulas are also of assistance to your general health maintenance and dis-ease prevention. By strengthening and enhancing your normal body functions, the immune system is regulated and a general sense of well-being promoted.

Hypnotherapy:

Why Hypnotherapy?

As a student in the practices of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation, I have explored the different teachings used to still the mind and utilize the full potential of the subconscious. Hypnotherapy is a process that enables the body to utilize the subconscious to empower the body to start the process of healing. By using hypnotherapy either by itself or as an adjunct to Acupuncture, I believe the ability
of the body to heal can be greatly enhanced.

About Your Practitioner:

I received my Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) from the Australian College of Natural Medicine Brisbane which included an internship at the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University, Nanning, People's Republic of China. I have certification in Chinese Remedial Massage and Chinese Herbs. I am a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). I have also gained certification in Hypnotherapy.
